Launched in 2011, Mentamizh Tamil Word Processor has now completed 15 years of excellence and continues to thrive with its 6th version. Awarded the prestigious Tamil Nadu Chief Minister's Tamil Computing Award, this software is widely used across Tamil Nadu government offices, newspapers, weekly journals, the public, students, teachers, and researchers alike.

Not only in Tamil Nadu but also in countries like Singapore, Malaysia, and Sri Lanka, Mentamizh has been adopted widely. Built on the principles of Tamil grammar, computational linguistics, and language technology, this software has been developed with cutting-edge global technological tools. This is a Tamil software equivalent to MS Word. It has been developed as the first comprehensive Tamil software with a wide range of language tools, including Unicode fonts, 18 types of keyboards, spell-checker, sandhi-checker, add-in tools compatible with MS Office software, as well as a simple pad for quick typing and many more utilities.

As technology progresses, we are striving to enhance Mentamizh by integrating AI capabilities, aiming to provide a Tamil Word Processor that can rival the functionality of popular English tools like Grammarly and Quill Bot.
